Sparkle Magazine Illo - "A Change of Heart"

Creating illustrations for Sparkle magazine are always enjoyable. This one called "A Change of Heart" depicts a sister who is feeling as though everything is unfair. The story starts with her brother getting to open a box holding a butterfly chrysalis that they found a few weeks earlier.

    I love seeing these progress shots Cheryl! The sister definitely has attitude! You captured her emotion sooo well! These illustrations look like fun to do. They always make me smile when I see them and remind me of the many great books I have read to my students. Great Job as usual!!
